Macbook Pro 13″

I opened the beautifully packaged Macbook Pro with excitement, I had been waiting a few days for my new Macbook Pro to arrive yet it felt like months. The reason why it felt like months was because I was debataing whether to get a netbook Samsung N10, Sony Vaio FW31E or a Macbook Pro. After spending lots and I mean lots of time researching these machines on the Internet I choose the Macbook Pro. The Macbook pro only worked out about £80 more then the Sony Vaio FW31E. I placed the order with amazon and it took 4 days to arrive.

Kayaking Adventure

HelenI was invited to go kayaking for a friend’s birthday last week and I jumped at the chance. Last year we went coasteering with the same company outdoor Guernsey www.outdoorguernsey.co.uk and they were really good.
The evening started off with a little drizzle as we climbed into our lifejackets, we all had to help get the kayaks off the truck and onto the grass where the demonstration was given. Tracy and I opted for a sit on kayak- this meant we were more likely to get wet but having 2 in a Kayak was better then on our own as it meant we could chat as we went a long.

I have a new Job

Looks like the 4 interviews have paid off, as I have been offered a job!  This job is for a receptionist/secretary role, I will be a receptionist in the morning, which includes booking all the travel (which you know I love) and helping to arrange corporate events. In the afternoons I will be undertaking a secretary role.

I am so relieved that I have found a job I can go straight into on the 1st September. At my current work place they have said I can sit with the receptionist and the secretary to learn a few things, this is brilliant as it will give me a bit of confidence and I wont walk into the office blind.
I am also relived that the interviews are over, as I said in my previous post it felt like I was consistently asking for time off, but it helped with the interview practise and I got the job I wanted in the end.
I can’t tell you how happy I am that I have found something, its been a roller-coaster of a few months.

Only 7 weeks to go!
