Guernsey mini-Olympics
I took part in the Guernsey Mini Olympics yesterday. This event has been taking place for the past 3 years to help raise money to go to the baby care unit. When I signed up a few months ago I thought it would be good to do something different, raise some money for charity and get to have some fun with my friends.
The end of a era
I cant believe how quickly this week has come around. All of a sudden its our last week at NRG. I have only been with the company just over a year and now I am leaving…. We are all being made redundant but hey that’s life, circumstances change and things happen for various reasons.
I have found the past few weeks have gone slowly, I am sure this week will fly by though. I think Friday is going to be a sad day for most, I am just glad I had the chance to work for such a great company and met some lovely people- who hopefully I will keep in touch with.
I start my new job next Tuesday….something totally different!
Leaving do on Friday- hopefully it will rock!!!
Canon SX10 versus Panasonic Lumix FZ38
As you may have read in my previous blogs I have been thinking about getting a new camera for the past couple of months. At first I wanted to go down the SLR route, however now I have changed my mind and want to go for a Digital powershot camera.
New car- Fiat Panda 1.2
It was time to say “goodbye” to the little red nissan micra I had for 5 years and “hello” to a new car. After a few days considering my options: Option 1: have no car at all and get the bus and use my push bike everywhere or Option 2: get a new car, i choose the latter option, to which I am very pleased about.
